Anis Trabelsi, Head Coach
As a rising star in Tunisian handball, Anis demonstrated exceptional skill and leadership across multiple age divisions. He served as team captain for the U13, U15, U17, and U19 teams, earning several Tunisian national championships - a testament to his competitive spirit and dedication to excellence.
Previously competing with San Diego Team Handball Club (SDTHC) for the 2024-2025 season, Anis continues to demonstrate the athletic prowess and tactical understanding that made him a champion in Tunisia.
As head coach for both men's and women's teams at SDTHC during the 2024-2025 season, Anis has quickly established himself as a transformational leader. Under his guidance, the women's team captured first place and the gold medal at the XVIII California Cup in Fremont, California, while his men's team earned second place and the silver medal at the Open USATH National Championship.
Quote from the coach:
"True leadership in handball, as in life, is not about commanding from the front - it's about developing each player's individual potential while building unbreakable team unity. A champion coach creates champions not just on the scoreboard, but in character, resilience, and the pursuit
of excellence."
